Sentimental family heirlooms brought back to life
Dad’s glove. Grandpa’s mitt. The childhood gamer you found in a closet. Vintage gloves aren’t just leather — they have invaluable memories attached to them. Our team restores old, sentimental gloves carefully: cleaning & conditioning, replacing old laces and repairing ripped, torn or missing leather.
Family-owned since 1978. Mail-in from anywhere, or drop off locally. Send photos for a quote — we reply within 24 hours. Want to talk on the phone first? Call our repair shop at 310-320-2243.
What vintage restoration involves
Every old glove is different. After we see your photos, we tell you what’s realistic — and what isn’t. Typical work includes:
Deep clean & condition — remove dirt and surface grime, then condition the leather to create a safe seal
Partial or full relace — replace brittle, broken or mismatched lace; match color from our stock or pick something new
Interior leather replacement — a full custom interior leather rebuild, includes new binding, thumb + pinky straps, and a full relace
Leather tears, rips, holes — for all other leather damage, including patchwork and rebuilds of missing leather parts
Honest note: very dry, cracked or rotted leather can’t always be saved. We evaluate from your photos first and tell you what’s realistic before you ship. If a glove isn’t restorable, we’ll say so — we won’t take a job we can’t stand behind.

FAQ
Can you restore my dad’s or grandpa’s old baseball glove?
Yes — sentimental and heirloom gloves are a big part of what we do. Send clear photos through the quote form and we’ll tell you what’s realistic before you ship.
What if the leather is dry, cracked or falling apart?
Very dry or rotted leather can’t always be saved. We evaluate from photos first and say so upfront. If the shell is sound enough, we can often clean, condition, relace and offer leather rebuilds.
How much does vintage glove restoration cost?
Partial relace from $20, full relace from $65, interior leather replacement from $165 (includes a full relace), clean & condition $25. Mail-in return shipping is a flat $25. Exact price comes with your quote.
How long does mail-in take?
Most gloves ship back within 1–2 days of arriving. Interior replacements can take 2–4 days. Shipping time each way is separate.
Do you restore old department-store brands like Wards / Hawthorne?
Yes. Wards, Hawthorne and similar vintage store-brand gloves are welcome, along with Rawlings, Wilson, MacGregor, Spalding, Nokona, Mizuno and others.
Can I mail a glove from out of state — or give a restored glove as a gift?
Yes. Mail-in is welcome from anywhere (U.S. and abroad). Request a quote first; we reply within 24 hours with price and the off-site shipping address. Restored gloves make wonderful Father’s Day, birthday and memorial keepsakes.
Can you refurbish or rejuvenate an old baseball glove?
Yes. Whether you call it repair, restoration, refurbishing or rejuvenating, it’s the same work: we clean and condition the leather, relace it, and rebuild interiors or torn leather when needed. Send photos for a quote and we’ll tell you what your glove needs.
