How mail-in repair works

  2. Receive pricing and shipping instructions. Expect a reply within 24 hours with your quote and our off-site shipping address.

  3. Ship your glove. Pack it up and send it to the address we give you. Please do not ship to the batting cages — we are located in a park that is not serviced by parcel carriers.

  4. Invoice is sent and our repair team gets to work. Once your glove arrives, an invoice is sent to you and our team gets to work on your repair as soon as payment is received.

  5. Glove is shipped back to you. Your glove is carefully packaged up and sent back to you with signature required to ensure a safe delivery. Return shipping is a flat $25.

What we fix

  • Laces Our team can relace any glove imaginable. Partial relace starts at $20; full relace starts at $65. Pricing depends on the amount of lace and how intricate the pattern is. Choose from any of our lace colors.

  • Leather repairs & interior replacements. Once cracking or tears develop in your leather, the only fix is to replace the damaged area. We offer repairs as small as a patch and as big as an entire interior leather rebuild.

  • Web swap / replacement. Add a new Rawlings, Wilson or custom (non-branded) web when you get your glove relaced. Browse webs.

  • Deep clean & leather condition. We deep-clean every surface, then seal the leather with a lightweight rub-on conditioner for $25 per glove.

  • Padding. Extra padding adds hand protection and can tighten leather in your palm. Starts at $20 for the pad. A partial relace is also required to install the pad.

Every glove is different, so your exact price comes with your quote.

Turnaround

Most gloves ship back within 1-2 days of arriving at our shop. Interior replacements can take 2-4 days. Our repair shop is open 7 days a week.

Shipping tips

  • Wait for your quote before shipping — the shipping address comes with it.

  • Include a note with your name, phone or email, and any services that require further instructions such as lace color.

  • Use a box rather than an envelope. We will send it back in the same packaging and a box will offer the most protection during the shipping process.

  • Prefer to drop it off? Bring it to Torrance Batting Cages, 2300 Jefferson St., Torrance, CA 90501 (do not ship to this address). Mon–Fri 2p–10p, Sat–Sun 10a–6p. Call for holidays; closed during rain.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I ship my glove?
Request a quote first. We send our off-site shipping address along with your quote. Please don't ship to the batting cages. Parcel carriers do not deliver to our park address.

How much does glove repair cost?
A partial relace starts at $20 and a full relace at $65. Deep clean & condition is $25 per glove, and padding starts at $20 (plus a relace). Return shipping is a flat $25. Send photos through our quote form for an exact price.

How long does mail-in repair take?
We typically ship the glove back 1-2 days after receiving.

Do you repair softball gloves too?
Yes. We relace and repair both baseball and softball gloves, and our team can relace any glove imaginable.

Can I replace the web on my glove?
Yes, when you get your glove relaced. We offer Rawlings, Wilson and custom (non-branded) webs. Because our stock is limited, webs are only sold with a repair, not on their own. If you don't see the web you need, ask about custom leather repair options.

How do I know when to relace my glove?
Typically when it starts to show significant wear and tear, or after a lace has snapped. As the leather gets dried out, it will become more brittle and less flexible to absorb the impact of a ball. Conditioning your glove can help prolong the life of the laces, but once they become brittle there is no going back.

Can I call with questions?
Of course. Call us at (310) 320-2243, weekdays 2p–10p and weekends 10a–6p (Pacific Time).
